Healthcare Waste Managed Honestly.

We guarantee you one thing. We will keep it real.

At Daniels, we don’t promise to save you money… and then don’t deliver! We don’t guarantee a 30% saving off your current bill and then charge you a little less than your current price and a lot more than the industry standard… we simply don’t play games. Our mission is simple – to make healthcare safer. Every Daniels sharps or biomedical waste container we install in a healthcare facility is getting us one step further towards our goal – we’re passionate about our safety containers and the human and environmental impact they have in healthcare environments, not about the waste that goes inside them. We will do our best to give you great pricing, we will work with you to determine exactly how many pickups you will need based on the volume of waste your facility generates, we will recommend the solutions most suited to your facility’s needs, and we will guarantee that our service and our contracts will be simple and consistent. Our new clean processing facility and team of operational experts centrally located in Vancouver enable us to support British Columbia's growing healthcare system. The major cities we service include Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam, Langley, Abbotsford, Chiliwack and more!

British Columbia Biomedical Waste Regulations

To further protect province’s land, The Environmental Management Act (EMA) prohibits the introduction of waste into the environment in a way that will cause pollution to British Columbia. In British Columbia, biohazardous waste categories include:

  • Anatomical solid & liquid waste from humans & animals
  • Microbiological waste
  • Non-anatomical waste
  • Sharps waste
  • Chemical & Pharmaceutical waste

Biomedical and biohazardous waste province guidelines are specific and the penalties for noncompliance can incur both civil and financial penalties. That’s where Daniel’s Health is here to help!

Let's Talk About British Columbia

Canada’s western most province, British Columbia, is a biodiverse photographer’s utopia situated amongst welcoming communities and buzzing cities. With more than 27,000km of coastline and endless mountain terrian, this province is four times the size of Great Britain- a true playground for any adventurist. It’s one of those places where you enjoy some skiing at Whistler Blackcomb Estate, hike or cycle in the Parc de Glaciers, and surf at Tofino in the same day!

The capital city, Victoria, is a town filled with charm and rich history. About 100km to the south lies the American city of Seattle, and just 100km north is Vancouver, one of the mo'[st ethnically and linguistically diverse cities in Canada. The 2010 Winter Olympics were held on the scenic Whistler mountain, drawing record crowds of over 500,000 attendees in Vancouver. The city has consistently been named as one of the top most livable cities across the globe. Greater Vancouver is also one of the largest film production centres of North America, thus the nickname Hollywood North. For any vino lovers out there, British Columbia boasts a diverse wine culture. The picturesque town of Kelowna offers over 20 local vineyards where you can enjoy wine tours and tastings.

Roughly 12.5% of the region is protected by 800 distinct wildlife preserves. With its rich biodiversity, British Columbia is home to more than half of all of Canada’s wildlife, marine, and endangered species and in fact, 1 in 4 North American Grizzly bears call the lush forests of BC their home. With such vast lands of unspoiled nature, it’s no surprise that one of the world’s most powerful NGO’s was established here, Green Peace. Originally founded in 1971 to oppose nuclear testing in the United States, this International non-governmental organisation now protects environmental threats in more than 55 countries!
